Happy 2015!

Welcome to 2015! I haven't posted on this blog in several years…my last entry was in November 2011. 

I was thinking of starting a blog when I recalled that I had one! Silly me. 

So what has been happening? Lots. Some good and some not so good. More importantly, I feel it is time to start contributing back and getting in tune with my inner spirit. Practice mindfulness. 

 Revamping this blog and so stay tuned….

This being human is a guesthouse.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
Some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house
Empty of its furniture,
Still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
For some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
Meet them at the door laughing
And invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
Because each has been sent
As a guide from beyond.
